LOCTITE® 542 está diseñado para fijar y sellar tuberías y conexiones metálicas roscadas, así como otros montajes cilíndricos de metal. El producto cura en ausencia de aire rellenando completamente las holguras que hay entre los filetes de rosca, para fijar roscas y juntas y prevenir el aflojamiento y las fugas debido a impactos y vibraciones. La naturaleza tixotrópica del LOCTITE 542 reduce la migración del producto líquido tras su aplicación sobre el sustrato.
