LOCTITE® LB 8040 es un aceite mineral especial diseñado para liberar piezas oxidadas, corroídas y agarrotadas. El producto enfría súbitamente las piezas tratadas hasta -43 ºC y causa grietas microscópicas en la capa de óxido. Esto permite que el lubricante se filtre por capilaridad directamente hasta la capa de óxido. El producto deja sobre la pieza una fina capa que la lubrica y evita el óxido.
