LOCTITE® HY 4070 es un adhesivo híbrido de cianoacrilato y acrílico en formato gel, bicomponente, transparente, de color lechoso a amarillo pálido, que fija los materiales rápidamente a temperatura ambiente con holguras de hasta 5 mm (0,2 in). Ofrece un excelente rendimiento en diversas superficies, como la mayoría de plásticos, cauchos y metales. Es ideal en situaciones en las que se necesita que el exceso de adhesivo cure completamente o cuando se requiere resistencia a temperatura y humedad. Se obtienen los mejores resultados de aplicación con la boquilla de mezcla para híbridos y cianoacrilatos LOCTITE® 10 ml (se adapta a HY 4070 y 3090).
