Manxa supports Unió Esportiva Olot and its scholarship programme for children facing financial hardship.

Since 2005, UE Olot has developed a football project built on social and sustainable values. Today, the club has 31 competitive youth teams, a football academy, women’s football, social football and inclusive football programmes. A total of 450 players, together with the coaching staff, make up a youth development structure focused on both education and competition.

The club proudly promotes diversity and aims to ensure that everyone feels included. Today, Unió Esportiva Olot stands out for its values and commitments, collaborating with several social organisations, including Caritas, Integra and TEA Garrotxa.

Integra is a non-profit organisation operating in the Garrotxa region. It was established to create and manage centres and services for people with intellectual disabilities, as well as for children with developmental disorders or at risk of developing them.

At Manxa, we work with Integra on our textile printing service (you can see it here) as well as on the preparation and packaging of materials supplied through our industrial vending systems (you can view the service here). We also donate IT equipment to help equip its centres and provide resources for its students.

For Manxa it is very important that everyone has the same opportunities, which is why we collaborate and donate material to the Girona Est Foundation.

Girona Est is a group of neighborhoods in Girona that are characterized by high rates of unemployment, low incomes and a high school dropout rate. The Girona Est Foundation supports these neighborhoods, especially their younger gruops. 

We also collaborate with the la Garrotxa Institute, a public center that was created in 1974 and that, since the academic year 2002-03, has been part of the Quality and Continuous Improvement Network project of the Department of Education. His teachings cover ESO, Baccalaureate, Intermediate Vocational Training and Higher Vocational Training.

From Manxa we collaborate with the clothing equipment of the students who are in the Mechanics and Maintenance Vocational Training, both medium and higher.

Manxa is a partner organisation of the Impulsa Foundation, which supports motivated young people who wish to continue their education but are in vulnerable situations.

Impulsa’s goal is to support them throughout their educational journey, guarantee equal opportunities and encourage their integration into the workforce, enabling them to contribute their talents to society while helping strengthen their local communities.

From Manxa, we sponsor VALLVIVA, a solidarity festival born from the desire to create a space for celebration, a meeting point and a unique event in the heart of La Garrotxa. With a first class musical offer, local gastronomy and Michelin-starred restaurants, it aims to be a benchmark festival in Catalonia.

Through the VALLVIVA foundation, the festival donates all the profits to the Vall d’Hebron Campus, a world reference centre in the field of research into people’s health, especially cancer.

We are a partner company at the Creu Roja to help the organization fulfill the commitment to care for the most vulnerable people.

llaboration agreement with the Banyoles City Council to promote assistance for children and youth in disadvantaged socio-economic conditions.

Manxa collaborates with this entity in favor of global child health and to promote vaccination as a tool against child mortality. Since 2008, the “la Caixa” Foundation has been promoting the Alliance for Childhood Vaccination in Spain with the aim of offering the Spanish society the opportunity to collaborate with Gavi (The Vaccine Alliance) in its fight against child mortality.

Agreement with the Montserrat Abbey Foundation to restore incunabula books, recover works of art, grant scholarships to children so they can study and sing in the Escolania, and other projects that we invite you to discover. This agreement is part of the Millennial celebration of the Abbey Foundation.

Collaboration with the Lluita contra les Infecions Foundation and the Metalquimia Foundation to promote the “Christmas for a new life” charity concert to face and fight Alzheimer’s and aging. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia with a projected expectation to become the main challenge for the elderly, with cases predicted to increase approximately 3-fold in the next 40 years to more than 150 million by 2050.
